Calling all runners-in-training! The City of Charleston Department of Parks and Recreation will host the annual Children’s Fun Run on Friday at 6:30 p.m. Registration starts at 3 p.m.
This is a free events for children ages 4 to 12, with race lengths varying by age group. Ages 4 to 6 run about one-quarter mile; ages 7 to 9 and 10 to 12 run about a half mile. All races will be on Kanawha Boulevard between Court and Capitol Streets.
