15 MILE, 3-PERSON 15 MILE RELAY, 5K and WALKS of 5K & 10K

5K and 10K Walk

The 5K and 10K walk course will start and finish at the same locations as the 15 mile and 5K run.  All walkers will proceed down Virginia Street, turn right on Leon Sullivan Way, turn right on Kanawha Blvd., right again on Court Street and right on Piedmont Road.  Once the intersection of Piedmont and Morris Street is reached, any walker that wishes to do the 10K Walk will proceed straight ahead to Farnsworth Drive, that goes up into the cemetery.  All others (5K walkers) will turn right on Morris Street and left on Hansford Street into Laidley Field.  The 10K walkers take Farnsworth Drive and will loop through the cemetery, where they will receive their Cemetery Hill Badge.  They will then come back down Farnsworth Drive and take a left on Morris Street, left on Hansford Street into Laidley Field.  Walkers must use the outside of the track in Laidley Field, so that they will not interfere with the runners.  They must finish the walk no later than 11:30am.  Water, fruit, wet towels and medical assistance will be available at the finish line.
